Mrs. Mavis Eloise Cashwell, 86

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Mavis Eloise Cashwell, 86, of 966 Armelia Drive, passed away Sunday, January 11 at Bethesda Nursing Center. She was a retired seamstress with Stedman Garments. She was born in Cumberland County October 11, 1922 to the late Bond Cashwell and Mamie Howell Cashwell. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 14 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Revs. Frank Davis and Sam Gore officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cashwell is survived by two sons, Larry Cashwell and Rex Cashwell, both of Stedman; one brother, Ernest Howell of Autryville; one sister, Retta Faircloth of Stedman; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M., Wednesday, January 14 at the funeral home.
