STEDMAN Mrs. Maude Jernigan Tew, 89 of 5172 Jefferson Street, Stedman, died on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Salemburg. Mrs. Tew was born on April 15, 1923 in Harnett County to the late Ira Vernon and Clara Foid Barefoot Jernigan. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
