Mrs. Mattie L. Hall, 86

Fayetteville Mrs. Mattie Lee Hall, 86 of Village Green Nursing Home went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday April 22, 2009. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, with Rev. Tim Gore and Mr. Rufus Autry, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Mrs. Hall was a retired cafeteria cook with the Cumberland County Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Bettie Hall, her husband Alvin Hall, sons; Charles and Prentis Hall and a daughter-in-law, Lois Hall. Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughter, Ada Gillis and husband Michael of Hope Mills, son; Fulton Hall and wife Marianne of Autryville, Ten Grandchildren and Nine Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, and other times at the home of Gloria Stewart, 2125 Coffman Street, Fayetteville. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
