Mrs. Mary Ellen Strickland Pearsall, 84

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Mary Ellen Strickland Pearsall, 84 of 10748 Dunn Road, Salemburg, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 8 at Old Mill Church of God, 170 Williams Lake Road, Roseboro, with Rev. Jimmy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Pearsall was born September 10, 1931 to the late Luke and Myrtle Lee Strickland. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Myrtle Faye Butler. She was a beloved mother and was a homemaker

She is survived by her husband, David Fulton Pearsall of the home; two sons, James F. Pearsall and wife Carol of Salemburg, David A. Pearsall and wife Helen of Stedman; one daughter, Rita M. Wurschum of Stedman; two brothers, Robert Strickland, Marion Strickland both of Salemburg; one sister, Inez Barefoot of Clinton; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, December 7 at Old Mill Church of God and other times at 10901 Dunn Road, Salemburg, NC
