Mrs. Mary Magdalene (Spell) Haney, 92 of Autryville went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Jeff Burkhardt officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Haney was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Oscar Minson and Maggie Cornelia Bradshaw Spell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reedie Odell Haney; four sisters, Mary Francis Little, Olloween Culbreth, Mary Elizabeth Blitch and Shirley Annette Hall; and her brother, Bobby Joe Spell.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Phyllis Laura Braswell and husband, Wayne of Fort Lauderdale, FL ;Bernice Snyder and husband, Carl of Clinton, SC; David Haney and wife, Rochelle of Roseboro; and Connie Conner of the home; six grandchildren, Jason Wayne Braswell, David Winston Braswell, Matthew Carl Snyder, Jennifer Leigh Haney, Corey Reed Harmon and Marion Lacey Conner; four great-grandchildren, Sophia Braswell, Isabella Davila, Arianna Conner and Noah Davis; and her sister, Marie Amalung.
