Mrs. Mary Edna Sessoms, 83 of Roseboro, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at her home.

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm Friday at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Pastor Jeff Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

Born on October 12, 1932 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Batt and Ida Pearl Dudley Lee. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Alvin Sessoms.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Grantham of Roseboro; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
