Mrs. Mary E. Sessoms, 72

ROSEBORO Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sessoms, 72 of 3334 Dunn Road, died on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at Butler Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Warren Barfield and Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at the Sessoms Family Cemetery. Mrs. Sessoms was born in 1937 in Sampson County to the late Ballard B. and Pearl Autry Autry. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Carl Sessoms; and one daughter, Lawanda Sessoms. Mrs. Sessoms is survived by: her son, Anthony Sessoms of Roseboro; one brother, Grover Autry of Autryville; five sisters, Honesta Faircloth and Bertie Mae Daniels, both of Autryville, Gladys "Kitty" Klug of Williston, N.D., Romelia Stanley and Janie Sova, both of Autryville; one grandchild, three step-grandchildren, and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 1 until 2 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
