Mary Ann Pollock Harris, 77 of Stedman, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was born September 25, 1938 in Sampson County to the late James Alton Pollock and Minnie Lou Turner Pollock. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Walker and a sister, Patricia Pollock. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Mike Elliott and Rev. James Koo. Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery. She is survived by sons, Richard Paul Forgach, Jr. and wife, Deborah of Stedman and Robert B. Walker of Wilmington; daughters, Terry Rose of Raleigh and Patty Knoble and husband, Pete of Stedman; sister, Donna Tyson and husband, Alfred of Rocky Mount; brothers, James Pollock and wife, Cathy of Florida and Robert Pollock and wife, Nancy of Maryland; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 12:45pm Thursday at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 7536 Clinton Rd. Stedman, NC 28391.
