Mrs. Mary Horne Hardison, 77 of 1474 Leroy Autry Road, Autryville, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Lutrell Spell and Bishop Warren H. Barfield, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Sandy Horne Cemetery in Autryville.

She was born on August 4, 1938 in Sampson County and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Verna Lee Sessoms Horne; daughter, Susan Hardison Autry; and sister, Dorothy Horne Naylor.

She is survived by her husband, Rayford Duncan Hardison of the home; daughter, Mary Rachel Hardison of Autryville; sons, Rex Hardison and wife Sue of Salemburg, Glenn Hardison and wife Wanda of Salemburg; sisters, Lucille Horne Carter of Clinton, Vivian Horne Autry of Autryville, Betty Horne Naylor of Stedman; grandchildren, Christopher Hardison and wife Jennifer, Rick Keene, Mitchell Autry, Tracy Keene, Marshall Hardison, Dustin Hardison, Joshua Hardison, Corey Hardison, Amy Edwards and husband Lyn; and great grandchildren, Austin Hardison, Brittany Carlney, Kerstin Autry, Harley Hardison, Brody Keene, Kobe Chestnutt, David Bradshaw, Jr., Dylan Windham.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
