AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Mary Emma "Pete" Hall Faircloth, 83 of 1214 Minnie Hall Road, Autryville, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Autryville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Long, Rev. Arthur Horne and Rev. Ricky Spell officiating. Burial will follow in the George Horne Cemetery. Pete was born on November 13, 1928 in Sampson County to the late Harvey Pritchard and Mary Jane Naylor Hall. Mrs. Faircloth was a graduate of Roseboro High School. She worked beside her husband in the fields and raising chickens and hogs. She was employed as a bank teller at First Citizens Bank for many years before retiring in 1990. Pete was a member of Autryville Baptist Church all of her life. She served many different positions in the church from teacher to financial secretary. She is survived by her niece, Barbara Hall of the home; one sister, Louise Horne of Fayetteville; two brothers, Jim Hall of Fayetteville and Allen Hall of Wake Forest; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Faircloth; her sisters, Marie Faircloth, Iskey Cain, Wilma Faircloth and Edna Hall and a brother, Walter "Tug" Hall. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at others times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
