Mrs. Mary Watson Duls, 93

EDGEWATER, MARYLAND

Mrs. Mary Watson Duls, 93 of Edgewater, Maryland, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her home.

The funeral will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, February 26, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. A private interment will be held Monday, February 29, at Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte, NC.

She was born June 3, 1922 in Sampson County, NC, to the late Thomas Nye Surles and Rosa Graham Surles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Moore Duls, Sr.; and brothers Calvin Hoover Surles and Thomas Nye Surles, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, James Moore Duls, Jr. and wife Carla of Edgewater, MD, and Thomas Graham Duls and wife Trisha of Sylva, NC; a sister, Norma Surles King of Goldsboro, NC; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held from 3:00 to 3:45 pm Friday, February 26, at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
