Mrs. Mary E. Carroll, 84

ROSEBORO Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Steele Carroll, 84 of 404 Buck Lane, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Autumn Wind Assisted Living Center in Roseboro. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg with Mr. David Williams officiating. Mrs. Carroll was born in 1924 in New York, New York to the late Roy and May Lafferty Steele. She worked as a Poultry Assistant. Mrs. Carroll is survived by: three daughters, Kathy Carroll of Turkey, Marie Carroll of Roseboro, and Mary Ann Coleman of Clinton; two sons, Robert Carroll of Clinton and Tim Carroll of Roseboro; one brother, Norbert Landy of Norfolk, VA; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Mary Ann Coleman, at 65 Moltonville Road, Clinton, NC. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, in Roseboro.
