Mary Pearl (Byrd) Lewis, 93 went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

Graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Wiley Autry Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. Jerry Hood.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman prior to the graveside service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vaston Elliott Byrd and Bettie Mildred Hudson Byrd; husband, Jasper Wade Lewis; son, Harry Keith Lewis; granddaughter, Redonna Helmick; great granddaughter, Allison Grice; and her brothers, David and Raymond Byrd.

She was a longtime member of Cedar Creek Church of God, now known as The Church of Cedar Creek.  She was a longtime waitress and cook at many restaurants in the area.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children; Jackie Lewis, Jr. & wife, Debbie, Donald Glenn Lewis, Wanda Lewis Walters, Mary Lewis Grice, and Beth Lewis Tauzell; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Rosa Byrd Bass; and brother, Elliott Byrd & wife, Jane.
