Mrs. Mary B. Johnson of 2120 Carry Bridge Road, Autryville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Southwood Nursing Home in Clinton.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Johnson-Brock Cemetery with the Reverend Andy Wood officiating.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 2:45 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Sampson County. She was born on January 5, 1932 to the late Abner F. and Estelle Peterson Butler. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert H. Johnson; her son, Harold W. Johnson; her daughter, Mary E. Johnson; her brother, Abner F. Butler, Jr.; and her sister, Ethel Butler Hall.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Carolyn M. Johnson of the home; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Tanner of Autryville; E.C. Tanner of Virginia; Tristin Johnson of Autryville; Amy Johnson of Fayetteville; and Susan Johnson of California; side-kick, Chunky Monkey; soon to be great-granddaughter, Angelia Marie Evans due in August; and her brother, Jesse Paul Butler of Autryville.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382.
