Miss Mary Jane Bryant, 95 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Dr. Josh Hughes and Rev. Mike Shook officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00  - 10:50 AM at the church on Wednesday prior to the service.

Miss Bryant was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Lalister Bernard “Lal” Bryant and Molly Ona Parrish Bryant.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lalister Bernard “L B” Bryant, Jr.; three sisters, Maurice B. Gardner, Joan B. Gardner and Marie B. Backer.

She was a retired Assistant Clerk of Court for Cumberland County and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Sybil B. Brown and husband, Bobby of Piedmont, SC, Dorothy B. Vinson of Roseboro and Polly G. Bryant of Roseboro; sister-in-law, Ruby Bryant of Roseboro; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and Senior Helpers for all the loving care given to Miss Bryant.  Also, special thanks goes to sister, Dot Vinson and sister-in-law, Ruby Bryant, Bernard Bryant, Sue Porter, Slawomir Jozetowicz, and Frankie and Mike.
