Mrs. Mary Edith Stokes, 57 of Godwin passed away at her home on Saturday, May 25, 2019.

There are no services planned at this time.

Mrs. Stokes was a native of Yuma, Arizona and the daughter of the late Stanley and Barbara R Hicks Beecher.  She is also preceded in death by a son, David Stokes.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Warrick of the home; son, Glenn E. Stokes of the home; son, Christopher Lockamy; three brothers, Charles R. Beecher of Raeford, Ralph Beecher of Arizona and Travis Beecher of South Carolina.  She also has many grandchildren and one great grandchild.
