Mr. Martin Thad McMillan, 63 of Dunn, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.

The funeral will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, April 11, at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, with Evangelist Deborah Carlisle and Reverend Jimmy Honeycutt officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 12, at the Melvin Family Cemetery, Roseboro.

He was born on May 11, 1952 in Sampson County to the late Johnny and Pearl Louise Robinson McMillan. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Judy Lucas; and step daughter, Sandra “Blossom” Parker.

He is survived by daughters, Christy S. Tierney and husband, Shannon and Misty Nicole Jernigan and husband, Don; grandchildren, Donathan Jernigan and Josiah Tierney; brothers, Ronnie, Kenny & Terry McMillan; sisters, Gail Smith, Barbara Bullard, Faye Melvin, Doris Sessoms, Kathy Blackburn, Sandra Lee and Donna West; step son, Glenn Carlisle; step grandchildren, Kayla Parker, Kelly Parker, Deanna Carlisle, Glenna Carlisle and Marissa Boughton.

The family will receive friends following the service Monday evening at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
