Mr. Mark Wesley Stevens, 58

SALEMBURG Mr. Mark Wesley Stevens, 58 of 606 Corinth Church Road, Salemburg, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Roseboro Cemetery with Dr. Tom Fortner officiating. Military honors will follow. Mr. Stevens was born on November 9, 1955 in Harvey, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Teresa Stevens. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1995 after 23 years of service and was a veteran of the Gulf War. He then started a second career with Murphy family ventures, where he worked until his death. He is survived by: three children, Katie Ollinger of Dallas, Texas, Matthew Stevens of Wilmington and Ryan Stevens of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren, Bailey Ollinger and Cooper Ollinger.
