Stedman Mr. Mark Alan Spears, 55 of 576 Magnolia Church Road, Stedman died Saturday. The funeral will be held at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman on Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. Jason Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Lafayette Memorial Park West. Mr. Spears was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Robert Horace Spears. He was a machinist with the National Textile Company. He is survived by his son, Mark Devine; mother, Loretta Spears; two grandchildren; two nephews, James Spears and wife, Christy and Chad Spears; one niece, Norah Grayce and the many friends he cared for. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
