Mr. Mark Edward Jenkins, 66 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Roseboro First Baptist Church with the Reverend Hampton Faircloth officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:50 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Jenkins was a native of Ingham County, Michigan, the son of James Edward and Janice Gretzinger Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents. He worked with Dow Chemical and Monsanto Company for many years and he was a rescue instructor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carmen H. Jenkins of the home; his son, Mark Jenkins II and wife, Heather of Roseboro; his daughter, Alison Frazier and husband, Jake of Clinton; two grandchildren, Luna Frazier and Marleigh Jenkins; and three brothers, Fred Jenkins and wife, Melody of Mebane; Jim Jenkins and wife, Deanna of Wilmington; and John Jenkins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
