ROSEBORO
Mr. Marion Devotion Faircloth, Jr., 85 of Roseboro, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Roseboro.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.
Mr. Faircloth was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Marion Devotion and Flossie Autry Faircloth. He was a member of Autryville Baptist Church and the Roseboro Masonic Lodge # 585 A.F.& A.M. He worked as an Engineer.
He is survived by: his wife, Inez Bullard Faircloth; son, Jim Faircloth of Roseboro; step-daughter, Lawanda Bullington of Southport; step-son, Henry Bullard of Dallas Texas; sister, Peggy Williams of Bowie, Maryland; three brothers, Worth A. Faircloth of Roseboro, Fred A. Faircloth of Autryville and Oscar L. Faircloth of Marco Island, Florida; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
