Mrs. Marilyn Reaves Faircloth, 75

AUTRYVILLE

Mrs. Marilyn Reaves Pope Faircloth, 75 of Autryville, went home to be with The Lord Friday, April 28, 2017.

The funeral will be held 3:30pm Sunday, April 30, at Salemburg Baptist Church, 300 N. Main Street, Salemburg, with Pastor John Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Raeford Autry Cemetery, Libbie Road, Autryville.

Born October 30, 1941 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Haywood and Eva Reaves Pope. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joel Layton Faircloth; and brother, Curtis Pope. She worked as a farmer and was a minister. She was the founder of Let's Have Church Ministries.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Rose Grady, and Joel Layton Faircloth, Jr. and wife Laural; her grandchildren, Val Cruchon, and Grace Faircloth; her brother, Bobby Pope and wife Dolores; her sister-in-law, Marie Pope; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:15pm Sunday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Enlighten The World Ministries of Clinton; or to a Church Ministry of choice.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
