STEDMAN
Mrs. Marie Williams Nunnery, 83 of Stedman, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Village Green Rehab Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday at South River Community Church, 6540 Goldsboro Road, Wade, with Robert Nunnery, Walt Latham and Pastor Lynn McLaurin officiating. Burial will follow at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.
She was born on February 5, 1933 in Wake County and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Viola Wall Williams; her husband, Max Nunnery; daughter-in-law, Wanda Nunnery; sister, Virginia Bell; and brothers, Emerson Williams, and Jesse Vernon Williams.
She is survived by her children, Denise N. Tyndall and husband Jeff of Autryville, Steve Nunnery of Stedman; grandchildren, Krystle Edge and husband Tony of Roseboro, Brandon Tanner and Amanda of Autryville, Jeremy Nunnery of Garner; great grandchildren, Kassidy Edge, Kaden Edge, Ethan Tanner, Nicholas Tanner; step-grandchild, Justin Tyndall and wife Miranda of Autryville; step-great grandchildren, Layla Tyndall, Adalyn Tyndall; and sisters, Clarine Hodge, Linnette Brisson both of Rolesville.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45 pm Sunday prior to the service and other times the home of her daughter, 171 E. Old Stage Road, Autryville.
