STEDMAN
Ms. Marie Hall Jackson, 90, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.
Ms. Jackson was born October 24, 1921 and was the daughter of the late John and Nettie Hall.
She was a devoted member of Magnolia Baptist Church where she held many positions. Ms. Jackson was a homemaker and loved by all who knew her. Her favorite things to do was working in her yard, making sure every piece of trash was gone and taking care of her grandchildren.
Ms. Jackson is survived by: two daughters, Lynn Grinnell and husband Greg of Grays Creek, Peggy Manning and husband John of Fayetteville, one son, James "Jimmy" Jackson and wife Ann from Alexandria, VA.; four grandchildren, Jay Gray and wife Tina, Chris Gray, Michele Jackson Nickisch and husband Brandon and Carla Jackson; four stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Grinnell Atwell, Mark Manning, John Manning, Jr. and Greg Manning; three great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Bertha, Katie, Ruth and Roberta; one brother, Richard; and a grandchild, Brian Parrish.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:45 P.M. followed by a celebration of her life at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Magnolia Baptist Church, Magnolia Church Rd, Stedman, NC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
