Marie (Spell) Faircloth

Mrs. Marie (Spell) Faircloth, 93 of Autryville went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 31, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Autryville Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Spell, Reverend Alan Roberts and Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating. The burial will follow at Autryville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Faircloth was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Muncie and Hosie Crumpler Spell. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harold Gibson Faircloth.

Marie always drove a Volkswagen Bug with a sun roof to work at Fort Bragg Womack Army Hospital where she retired after 39 years of Civil Service.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jill Faircloth of the home; her son, Marc Faircloth of Sumter, SC; and her granddaughter, Jana Marie Dippold and husband, Jake of Sumter, SC.
