Margie Irene (Lucas) Lockwood

ROSEBORO Mrs. Margie Irene Lockwood, 86 of Roseboro, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Southwood Nursing Center. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro with Pastor Bryan Strickland officiating.  Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. She was born December 22, 1934 in Sampson County and was the daughter of Amon and Daisy Irene Rockwell Lucas.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lockwood; and son, Charles Aman.  She was a retired Seamstress. She is survived by three daughters, Elgie Lucas and husband, Larry of Roseboro, Rose Autry and husband, Bobby of Clinton, Betty Aman of Clinton; two sons, Tommy Hall and wife, Wilma of Roseboro, Millard Hall and wife, Lisa of Roseboro; three sisters, Kathleen Carlisle of Roseboro, Eva Brock of Roseboro, Joyce Faircloth and husband, Rudy of Roseboro; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50pm Wednesday prior to the funeral service. Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
