FAYETTEVILLE
Mrs. Margaret Lee Hairr Hall, 85, of Fayetteville died Friday, March 23, at Carolina Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville. She was a retired nurse. Mrs. Hall was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late George Washington Hairr and Ila Florence Beasley Hairr. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence D. Hall; a sister, Betty Diebold; a brother, Thomas Hairr; and step-mother, Frances Hall Hairr.
A funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 25 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Ricky Spell officiating. Burial will follow at T.J. Hall Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Joyce Dew of Fayetteville, Martha Wirt of Pulaski, VA and Donna Faircloth of Roanoke Rapids; a son, Kenneth Hall of Marion, VA; four sisters, Mae Autry of Autryville, Ruth Squires of Salemburg, Pearl Hall of Autryville and Geraldine Jackson of Roseboro; a brother, G.W. Hairr of Atlantic, NC; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 25 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service.~Visitation~
