Margaret (Hudson) Fisher

STEDMAN Mrs. Margaret Hudson Fisher, 89 of Stedman passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, Dec. 22, at Oak Grove Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 until 1:50 pm at the church, and other times at the home of Ann and Earl Spell, 1679 Howard Road, Autryville. Mrs. Fisher was a native of Sampson County. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her parents,, Frank and Ludie Honeycutt Hudson, her husband, Lawrence Fisher; a daughter, Patricia Chase; and a great grandchild, Reid Bass. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Spell and husband, Earl of Autryville and Vicki Fisher of Salemburg; one sister, Ruth Bunce and husband, Toby of Stedman; four grandchildren, Denah Newman and husband, Ozzie, Amy Bass and Husband Brad, Chris Culbreth and wife, Carolyn, and Jaclyn Garey and husband, Don; six great grandchildren, Cole Bass, Hanna Culbreth, Jack Culbreth, Caitlyn Culbreth, Halle Garey, and Harper Garey; and a very special friend and caregiver, Wanda Kubiak. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC.
