Margaret Elizabeth (Culbreth) Horne

Margaret Elizabeth Culbreth Horne, 81, died on April 28, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2021 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, officiating will be Tommy Kinlaw.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Monday at the church prior to the service.

Margaret was born June 25, 1939 to the late Earnest and Pearl Culbreth.  She is also preceded in death by her sons, Ronnie Wayne Bullock and Roger Bullock; brothers, Bynum, William and two unnamed brothers; and sisters, Nancy Nemeth and Mary Durema Culbreth.

Margaret worked for 27 years for Harris Teeter as a butcher.

She is survived by her sons, Roy Lee Bullock & wife, Sheila and Vernon Ray Bullock & wife, Cathleen; brothers, David & wife, Martha and Harry & wife, Kathy; sisters, Katie Culbreth, Julia Mathias, Edith Culbreth, and Donna Owens & husband, Pete; grandchildren, Shelley Bullock-Taylor & husband, James, Crystal Bullock Fields & husband, Dohn, and Vernon Ray Bullock, Jr. and great grandchildren, Alex Fields, Jackson Taylor, Andrew Fields and Hannah Rose Taylor.

Margaret will be greatly missed by her sons, daughter-in-law's, brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
