FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Malcolm Henry Lyons, 40 of 4871 Doc Bennett Road, Fayetteville, died on Monday, April 7, 2014 at his home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Crystal Springs Chapel with Pastor Bruce Suggs and Rev. Aaron Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mr. Lyons was born on September 13, 1973 in Cumberland County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buddy Jackson and Eva Rose Cashwell Bass. He worked as a Carpenter. He is survived by: one daughter, Emily Rose Lyons of the home; his adopted children, Dusty Thompson, Malcolm Dillon Thompson and Ashley Thompson; two sisters, Vivian Hall of the home and Sandra Gassaway of Roseboro; and two brothers, Joe Williams and Leon Small, Jr. both of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Crystal Springs Chapel, 1465 Crystal Springs Road, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Butler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 638, Roseboro, NC 28382 to help with funeral expense.
