Mrs. Magdaline Autry Bass, 97

AUTRYVILLE

Mrs. Magdaline Autry Bass, 97 of 398 Howard Road, Autryville, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.

She was born on April 30, 1919 in Sampson County and is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mittie Holland Autry; and husband, Eddie Bass.

She is survived by her daughters, Ann House and husband Elwood, Deborah Bass, both of Autryville; sister-in-law, Agnes Spell of Autryville; and step-brother, Wetheral Simmons of South Carolina.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Clement Baptist Church, 6020 Maxwell Road, Autryville, with Pastor Dr. James E. Dees, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm prior to the service. Interment will be held at Maxwell Cemetery.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
