Mrs. Mable Spell Parker, 76

STEDMAN Mrs. Mable Spell Parker 76 of Stedman went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at her home. The funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Earl West, Rev. Jesse Matthews and Rev. Lutrell Spell officiating. Burial will follow in the Spell Cemetery on Dunn Road, Roseboro. Mrs. Parker was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Libby and Florence Butler Spell. She was a loving pastors wife for 40 years also a very loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Elton Parker, step mother, Marcie Spell, a sister, Mildred Spell and three brothers, Festus Spell, Uriah Spell and Edwin McKenzie. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Roberts and husband, Jay of Fayetteville; one son, Mark Parker and wife, Tina of Westminster, SC; three sisters, Ora Roegiers of Dunn, Patricia Hall of Autryville and Frances Hall of Fayetteville; two brothers, Earl Spell of Beulahville and Rev. Lutrell Spell of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Sean Roberts, Tiffany Roberts, Kyle Hales and Jason Black and wife, Dana and his father, Dennis Black; one great grandson, Logan Black. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 4 at Butler Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 4:15 PM. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC. The funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Earl West, Rev. Jesse Matthews and Rev. Lutrell Spell officiating.
