Mrs. Mabel Hobbs Deboise

Stedman Mrs. Mabel Hobbs DeBoise, 93 of 1617 Carl Freeman Rd. died Monday at Bethesda Health Care Facility. Mrs. DeBoise was from a family of 12 children from the union of her parents, Monroe Hobbs and Pashun "Hite" Hobbs. A visitation is planned for Friday October 31st. at Salem United Methodist Church, from 9:30 to 10:00 AM. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM with the Dr. Bill Snotherly officiating. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. Mrs. DeBoise is survived by her daughter: Deborah D. Sledge and her husband Ret. Major William T. Sledge, Jr.; sisters: Mary Robbins and Jessie Moore; Step-sisters: Emily Mooring, Frances Brown and Dorothy Johnson; half-brother Marvin Hobbs; Grandchildren Shawn and Sonia Sledge.
