ROSEBORO Mrs. Lula Grace Smith Bullard, 70 of 13156 N.C. Highway 210 S., Roseboro, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bullard was born on April 24, 1944 in Sampson County to the late James Warren and Nellie Isabell Gillis Smith. She worked as a Lab Technician with Fiber Industries. She is survived by her husband, Orvis Carmon Bullard of the home; daughter, Sharon Bullard Young and husband Douglas of Hickory; son, Rodney Bullard and wife Laura Rosser-Bullard of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Christopher Bullard of Raleigh, Amanda Bullard of Hickory and Ella Grae Bullard of Wilmington; and sisters, Julia Faye Smith Johnson and Linda Warren Smith Tatum both of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 P.M. Sunday afternoon at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 4693 Beaver Dam Church Road, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
