Mrs. Luella (Laviner) Tew, 85 of Longs, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 23, 2026 at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at Lake Lynn Baptist Church on Saturday, March 28, 2026 with the Reverend Philip Graves officiating. The burial will follow at Holland’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 11:00 to 11:50 AM at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Tew was a native of Scotland County, the daughter of James Edward and Curland (Laviner) Laviner. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Charlie Crockett Tew.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Terry Krotzer and husband, Ken of N Myrtle Beach; her son, Steve Weese and wife, Linda of Raleigh; two grandsons, Justin Sanders and wife, Samantha; and Logan Sanders; her great-granddaughter, Delilah Sanders; her sister, Gertrude Hill of Mebane; and her brother, Rudolph Laviner of Wagram.
