WHITE OAK
Mrs. Lucille Warren Sholar, 88, of 177 Gum Springs Road, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Maurice Lancaster, Dr. Bruce Taylor, Rev. Tim Reaves, Rev. Marcia Smith and Rev. Robert Council officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Sholar was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Warren and Mamie Holland Warren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Sholar, Sr.; son, J.D. Sholar, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Max Fields; granddaughter, Martha F. Bullard; brother, Prentice Warren.
Mrs. Sholar is survived by: son, Danny Sholar and wife Vivian, of White Oak; five daughters, Sara West and husband Sammy, of White Oak, Kay Hughes and husband Gary, of Smithfield, VA, Holly Toler and husband Terry, of Dunn, Wendy McCartney and husband Bob, of Grove City, PA and Kristy Bordeaux and husband Jerry, of Coram, NY; sister, Alease Spell Faircloth, of Clinton; 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday night, Jan. 4, 2008 from 7-9 PM at the church.
