Mrs. Luada Strickland Mclamb, 100

ROSEBORO Mrs. Luada S. McLamb, 100 of 85 Bayo Boy Lane, Roseboro, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, September 27 at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 6570 High House Road, Salemburg, with Reverend Eddie McKeel and Reverend Donald Keith Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. McLamb was born May 5, 1915 in Sampson County and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Martin and Ada Jane Honeycutt Strickland; husband, William Donnie McLamb; three brothers; one sister; son in law, Jesse; three great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She is survived by two daughters, Blondell West and fiance Tommy Cain, Diann Johnson and husband Larry all of Roseboro; six grandchildren, Shawn West, Sharon Stumpf, Sheldon West, Sherill West, Deana Ayers, Neal Johnson; 12 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 3:00 to 3:45 pm Sunday afternoon at the Church and other times at 3858 Huntley School Road, Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Roy & Wanda Williams, 233 Bayo Boy Lane, Roseboro, N.C. 28382.
