Ret. MSGT Louie Craven Wombaugh, Jr., 81 passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

Per Louie's request there will not be a public memorial service or viewing.

Louie retired in Fort Bragg, North Carolina from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant, and he also retired from the United States Postal Service in Clearwater, Florida.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Louie Craven Wombaugh, Sr. and Carmel Hull Wombaugh; wife, Brenda Diane Wombaugh; daughter, Jessica Wright; and his sons, Larry C. Wombaugh and Louie Wombaugh, III.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his significant other, Star Morrison of the home; daughters, Vivian Wright of Fayetteville, and Claudia McLeod (Lee Chavis) of Autryville; sons, Wesley Roberson, Scott Burbank, Tyler Morrison (Elizabeth), and Chad Roberson all of Autryville; and grandchildren, Victory Andrew Fields, Jr., Jason Nichols Wright, Gage Nathan Wombaugh, Lane Wombaugh, Nathan Wombaugh, Dillion Tyler Morrison, Esmaie and Malachi Morrison, Destiny and Chase Roberson.
