Mrs. Lou Westbrook Fowler, 67

Mrs. Lou Westbrook Fowler, 67, of 601 College Street, Salemburg, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2006 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at 11 AM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Teddy Raynor officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmington. Mrs. Fowler was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Herman and Nellie Connors Tyler. She was a secretary with Sampson County Schools before retiring. Mrs. Fowler is survived by: three daughters, Donna Westbrook, of Roseboro, Susan Westbrook Blackmon, of Elizabeth City and Robin Fowler Warren, of Princeton; two sisters, Betty Wrench, of Godwin and Elizabeth Wooten, of Newton Grove; brother, R.M. Tyler, of Newton Grove; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to them to help with funeral expenses.
