Mrs. Lottie Jane New Sessoms, 77 of Autryville passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, Oct. 17 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Dockery and Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:50 PM at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Willie C. and Katie Sessoms New. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dixon Sessoms; brother, L. C. New and sister, Mildred Faircloth. She was the co-owner and operator of Dixie Telephone.

She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Lynn Sessoms of Autryville; son, Johnny Linwood Sessoms and wife, Brandy of Autryville; brother, Evander New and wife, Melinda of Dunn and three grandchildren, J. J. Sessoms, Tucker Sessoms and Savannah Sessoms.
