Ms. Lois E. Lewis, 52

AUTRYVILLE Ms. Lois Edge Lewis, 52 of 2785 Howard Road, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Fisher and Dr. Odell Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Lewis was born on July 25, 1957 in Harnett County to the late Owen B. and Mallie Frances Spell Edge. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Nancy Lockamy and Mary Chestnutt. She worked as a Machine Operator with Hamilton Beach. Ms. Lewis is survived by: her daughter, Shannon Robinson and husband Carl, of Roseboro; two sisters, Frances Gardner, of Roseboro and Janice Coffee, of Autryville; two brothers, Edwin "Pete" Edge and William "Billy" Edge, both of Roseboro; two grandchildren, Walter Robinson and Gregory Robinson. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
