Mr. Lloyd C. Townsend, 61

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Lloyd Cecil Townsend, 61 of Autryville, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at his home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears and Rev. Michael Salisbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Family Cemetery. Mr. Townsend was born in 1947 in Buna, Texas, to the late Robert Cecil and Viola Ard Townsend. He worked as a Superintendent in the Construction Industry. Mr. Townsend is survived by: his wife, Kathleen Townsend of the home; three daughters, Kathy Sue Brock and husband Calvin, of Stedman, Stacy Dubose and Stephanie Herrington, both of Texas; three sons, Jerry Townsend, Michael Townsend, and Robert Townsend, all of Texas; one brother, Robert Townsend of Florida; one sister, Vivian Markle of Texas; three special grandchildren, Casey, Amanda, and Charles, and ten other grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, in Stedman.
