Mr. Lloyd Earl Mclaughlin, 84

Stedman Mr. Lloyd Earl McLaughlin, 84 of Stedman died on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Carolina Rehabilitation in Hope Mills. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Mr. McLaughlin was a native of Robeson County, the son of the late John Henry and Beulah Mae Smith McLaughlin. He was a retired printer with the Civil Service and was a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by two sons, Thomas Herring of Stedman and Phillip McLaughlin of Wilson; one daughter, Phyllis Strickland Vann of Stedman; three sisters, Dorothy, Linda and Shirley; his best friend, Marilyn Heath; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 1013 at Magnolia Baptist Church with the Rev.
