Lloyd Lee Caulder, Jr., 70, of Stedman, formerly of Wade, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 7, 2023 at his home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Salem Methodist Church in Eastover, officiating will be Rev. Gil Wise.  Burial with Masonic Rites and Military Honors will follow at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wade.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Sunday at the church prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Lee Caulder, Sr. and Jean O’Brien Caulder.

He was a longtime member of Salem Methodist Church, served seven years with the Army National Guard, was a dispatcher with Taylor Trucking Company, and a member of Stedman Masonic Lodge #730 A.F. & A.M.

He also loved working in his garden, tending to his flowers and his vegetables.  Last year he donated well over 1300 tomatoes to the Salvation Army, which truly shows his way of caring for others.  He was an avid ECU fan; but most of all he truly loved his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sheila Smith Caulder of the home; son, Lloyd Lee Caulder, III & wife, Linda of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Lauren Marsh & husband, Jeremy of Eastover; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Alexandra Caulder, Camden Lee Caulder, and Grayson Vance Marsh; and his sister, Patricia Ann Ellis & husband, Donald of Dunn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lloyd's honor to The Salvation Army of the Sandhills, 220 E. Russell Street, Fayetteville, NC  28301.
