AUTRYVILLE Mr. Linoard Gilbert Howard, 76, of 1201 Howard Road died Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Cary Wake Medical Center. The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Allen West and Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Howard was born on March 27, 1936, in Sampson County to the late James and Eloise Holland Howard. He was a farmer. He is survived by: his wife, Naomi Howard of the home; two daughters, Shirley Williamson and husband, Danny of Raleigh and Shelby Royal and Husband, Greg, of Roseboro; one son, Steve Howard and wife, Tracey, of Autryville; two brothers, Ellis Howard and wife, Nell of Winder, GA and Tom Howard and wife, Norma of Autryville; eight grandchildren, Tyler Williamson, Clayton Williamson, Dylan Williamson and wife, Jessica, Matthew Howard, Kaitlyn Howard, Morgan Howard, Nathan Royal and Allison Royal. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. The funeral will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Allen West and Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating.
