Linda Lee Tew Nunnery, 69

CLINTON

Mrs. Linda Lee Tew Nunnery, 69 of 904 Warren Street, Clinton, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Friday at Faith Chapel Church of God, 1118 Autry Highway, Roseboro, with Reverend Deborah Carlisle and Reverend Glen Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

Born February 25, 1948 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Frances Tyndall Tew. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Benjamin Nunnery, Jr.; and daughter, LeAnne Nunnery. She retired as a Nurse with Sampson Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her son, James Elliott Nunnery and wife Crystal of Roseboro; daughter, Robyn Gatlin and husband Bucky of Autryville; grandchildren, Tyler Simmons, Stacy White, Ben Gatlin, Brody Gatlin, Brittany Nunnery, Dalton Nunnery; great grandchild, Tatum Simmons; brother, Gary Tew of Salemburg; and sister, Brenda Honeycutt and husband Sanford of Sanford.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at her home.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
