Mrs. Linda Faye Pollock

Fayetteville Mrs. Linda Faye Pollock, 66, of 4150 Dudley Road, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. John Peverett officiating. Mrs. Pollock was the daughter of the late Purcell Cliffton and Ethel Brewington Hammonds. She was an in home nurses aide. Mrs. Pollock is survived by: son, Cliffton Roberson, of Fayetteville; daughter, Shannon Roberson, of Fayetteville; two brothers, Bobby Hammonds, of Lumberton and Cliff Hammonds, of Fayetteville; two sisters, Muriel Hammonds, of Robbins and Shirley Hammonds, of Arizona; four grandchildren.
