White Oak
Mrs. Linda Faye Hyatt Kinlaw, 59, of 11254 Highway 53 West, White Oak, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Bladen County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2007 at 2 PM at White Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Lewis, Rev. Leon Warren, Rev. Keith Dowd and Rev. Pete McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kinlaw was born in Robeson County to the late Harvey and Emma Ward Hyatt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Kinlaw, brothers, Leroy Hyatt and J.C. Hyatt and a sister, Ruth Mussellwhite. She was a retired postmaster of the White Oak Post Office. She will be greatly missed as she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a very dedicated member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kinlaw is survived by: daughter, Pam Gooden and husband Neil, of the home; two granddaughters, Lauren Gooden and Haley Gooden; five sisters, Martha Salter, of Havelock, Sadie Hammond, of Hope Mills, Sarah Elizabeth McMillian, of St. Pauls, Margaret Powers and Louise Hyatt, both of Lumberton; brother, Harvey Hyatt, Jr., of St. Pauls.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 till 9 PM at White Oak Baptist Church.
