Linda Margaret (Smith) Jackson

Mrs. Linda Margaret (Smith) Jackson, 76 of Autryville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Duke Medical Center surrounded by family. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Billy Bass officiating.

The family will receive friends for 2:00 to 2:50 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Jackson was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Carroll and Lela Bass Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Carolyn Kinlaw and Sue Smith; and her brother, Clyde Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bobby Jackson of the home; two daughters, Lisa Edge and husband, Randy Barbour of Garland; and Kaye Jackson Holland of Roseboro; her son, Doug Jackson and wife, Annette of Roseboro; four grandchildren, Melissa Wescott (Lewis), Amber Monsivais, Lauren Jackson and Dalton Jackson; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Liberty Hospice of Clinton and her special caregiver Qwanda Simmons for all the loving care given.
