Mrs. Lillian Peterson, 93 of 6695 Maxwell Road passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was born February 11, 1923 in Sampson County to the late Robbie Howard and Melvina Williams Howard.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Stacy Autry; second husband, Roy Peterson; oldest son, Ted Howard Autry; daughter-in-law, Gail Bennett Autry; brothers, Robert Howard, Roland Howard, Earl Howard & Max Howard; and sister, Elsie Haywood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Magnolia Baptist Church, officiating will be Pastor Jason Whitfield. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Bob) Autry and wife Linda of Durham; daughter, Doris Autry Klaas & husband, Finley of Metuchen, NJ; grandchildren; Julie Autry, Leah Autry Hall, Robert Autry, II, Jeremy Klaas, Stuart Klaas and fiance' Amy McGlynn & Brandon Klaas and fiance' Amanda Haas; Great Grandchildren, Nichole Morris, Blane Autry, Karis Autry, Easton Klaas, Abigail Hall, Riley Hall, Cade Flanley & Gavin Flanley; and great great grandchildren, Teagan Morris, Declan Morris and Sloane Morris; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home and on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 1:00pm-1:50pm at the church before the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Magnolia Baptist Church, attention Meals Ministry, 1021 Magnolia Church Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
